Frequently Asked Questions
Wend is a daily word puzzle originally from LinkedIn. You are given a grid of letters with gray wall blocks. You need to trace hidden words by connecting adjacent letters (up, down, left, right — no diagonals), bending around the walls, until every open tile is used exactly once.
Pick a grid size from the daily challenge cards on our homepage (5x5 to 10x10). Click or drag across adjacent letter tiles to trace a word. When your traced path matches a hidden word, it locks in. Find all the words to complete the puzzle. Use Hint if stuck, Undo to remove the last word, or Reset to start over.
Completely free, no sign-up needed. Just open the site and play. Your progress saves automatically in your browser.
In Wordle you guess one word in limited tries. In a word search, words go in straight lines. In Wend, words bend around walls, and every tile must be used exactly once — making it part word-hunt, part jigsaw puzzle. You need both vocabulary and spatial reasoning.
Yes. Our daily challenge offers a different puzzle for each grid size (6 puzzles daily). Plus, the Practice section has 300+ curated puzzles, and Unlimited mode lets you play endlessly.
